DUMP MATERIAL SURROUNDING CHIMNEY 200yds WEST OF SILVERMINES FARM, 3/4MILE EAST OF COMBE MARTIN.
The tone of the notice on the gate (along the lines of Honest officer, he'd fallen repeatedly down the shaft before I found him) suggests mineral collectors are not tolerated. However, quite alot of dump waste has been used on the public footpath past the site and yields quite nice galena and siderite in quartz.
