Williams (circa 1945) gives this brief statement: "Caesium Beryl crystals in Feldspar prospect on Parmalee Farm near Wells Brook." In the map legend he notes it as "Kelsey's (Parmalee) Feldspar Quarry" and places it on a knoll just west of Walkley Hill Road about 1000 feet NNW of its crossing over Kriegers (Wells) Brook. Two small pits that correlate with a pegmatite on the Haddam quadrangle bedrock geological map are visible on LiDAR data. Residential development has taken over this area.
