Madara Island is an island located in the Genkai Sea, approximately 9 km west of Cape Hato, the northernmost tip of the Higashimatsuura Peninsula.

It belongs to Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, and it is the westernmost point of Saga Prefecture.

With an area of ​​approximately 4.24 km², it is the largest island in Saga Prefecture. The highest peak is Bansho no Tsuji (237m).
