Vama (German: Wama) is a commune located in Suceava County, Bukovina, northeastern Romania. It is composed of four villages: namely Molid, Prisaca Dornei (German: Eisenau), Strâmtura, and Vama. The locality was a town until 1950 when it lost its urban status.

This is the locality for Schraufite, a variety of amber, that occurs in Carpathian sandstone. The Carpathian Mountains are mostly in Romania, as well as the region of Bukovina. Both the mountain range and the Bukovina region extend into Ukraine along the border. The Carpathian Mts do not extend into Russia.
