A former lode Au mine located in sec. 35, T6N, R13E, MDM, 1.2 km (0.7 mile) S of Railroad Flat, SE of Clark Reservoir. Operated during the period 1936 to 1942. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 200 foot adit (topo map reflects only a shaft symbol).
