Pegmatite in gneissic textured augen-textured leucodiorite to quartz leucodiorite. Primary igneous layering is present in places and is marked by pyroxene or its metamorphic equivalent. The rock on the dump and around the shaft is silicified granite gneiss, pegmatite and hornblende pegmatite.

The development on lot 19, concession X, Foley township, consists of a 5- by 5-foot shaft l chain south of the concession road and a test pit at the road, 10 by 10 feet and 5 feet deep. The rock on the dump and the outcrop around the shaft is silicified granite gneiss, pegmatite, and hornblende pegmatite carrying a very minor amount of disseminated pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and pyrite. The test pit exposes a lens of coarse (1-inch) hornblende pegmatite mineralized with disseminated pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite.
