Two gypsum beds of white good quality occur at 21m and another at 7m below surface with thicknesses of 1.2-5 m. The gypsum was shipped to Lythmore, Ont. for milling ( Ontario Bureau of Mines 1912, Twenty-First Annual Report Vo. XXI, Part I, p.166.)
