Outcrops of ophiolitic rocks in the area around the old church of Prada.
The area between Carbona and Prada, on the right side of the Reno River, was interested by mining activities whose most important center was the copper mine of Bisano (it has been active mainly in the half of XIX century). In the Prada area and in other adjoining ones, since the half of the 1990s, was still possibile to find some copper, malachite and bornite specimens.
