Ancient iron mine which was the main supplier of ore for the furnaces in Gollrad / Mariazell before the mine in Gollrad (Herrenkögerl) was developed. First written record dates from 1025. The finding of slag heaps suggests that miners were active in the Postlwald well before the year 1000.
The mining ended about 1870.
During this long period of mining a number of adits were driven. Few remains are visible, one is the Antonistollen near to the locality http://www.mindat.org/loc-60555.html (pyrite iron cross twins).
Several mine dumps with gravelly 'Rohwand' ore are found in this area.

The mine is located 1.1 km E of Gollrad at approx. N47.65387 E15.31992, elev. 1'010 m.
