Vesicular lava flows located about 1 mile east and 1/4 north of Hillsboro, Sierra County, New Mexico. The locality was found by Ron Gibbs and he provides the following description and directions:

"The nearest landmark is the refuse transfer station in Warm Springs canyon just outside town. To get there, drive east out of Hillsboro about a mile or less and turn north onto a dirt road just before crossing a major wash. This road leads to the transfer station. You can park there and start walking looking for vesicular lava."

Material from this locality showed up on the giveaway tables at the 2013 Arthur Roe Micromineral Symposium in Tucson. Notably present are curved blades of pseudobrookite.

GPS coordinates of the transfer station mentioned above are 32°55'38.30"N, 107°33'20.56"W. Elevation is about 5,311 ft AMSL.
