Aval island
Marine marsh deposits.
The Ile Aval itself is part of the township of Pleumeur-Bodou but the actual place where the specimens were taken was in the salt marshes between the Ile Aval and the mainland where the hamlet of Penvern is situated. Hamlet of which the western part belongs to the township of Trébeurden. http://www.mindat.org/loc-283434.html.
The place was more to the side of Trébeurden and that is the reason why the name Trébeurdenite was chosen (personal communication of geologist Odile Guérin to Erik Vercammen, August 2016).
