Part of the Royal Peacock Group of patented lode mining claims. Operated as a fee dig site. This mine produced a 130 pound precious opalized wood (var. ginkgo) log in 1992, which when cleaned up measured 90 cm long, and 40.6 cm in diameter, and was estimated to contain at least 30% precious opal.
