A test pit adjacent to the road on lot 18, concession VIII, Armour township, was put down on coarse amphibolite carrying disseminated pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite. It is now filled with garbage.

There are 3 different pits found at this location. Just west of the road and within 15 meters from the road. Only garbage found was a old steel wash barrel in the pit closest to the road.

The pits occur on a ridge of amphibolite outcropping in a east to west direction.

We did not see any copper sulphides but did see a few pieces of massive quartz on one of the dumps. We didn't stay long enough to search the dumps, since it was getting dark.

These pits were discovered by Coralee Sisel on 07/09/2011. I was searching on the wrong side of the road.

This locality is found on the lot next to Nickel Cliff Mine, just north of Chetwynd Ontario.
