Hydrothermal manganese mineralisations (ores) found in reddish radiolarites and partly interbedded marls of the Ankara ophiolitic melange of lower Cretaceous-upper Senonian age. The mineralisations form bands and lenses on these extremely folded rocks. All samples are composed of pyrolusite and quartz.
Located near Haymana town, 25 km SW (70 km S) of Ankara city.
