A mountain range which is part of Sistema Iberico. The crest is 7.4 kilometers Southeast 141 degrees from Cornago. The mountains formed by folded Lower Cretaceous continental deposit formations in the Cameros Basin. This location had quartz veins with euhedral quartz crystals. The rock appears to be a sandstone.
