Myrgruven (Froland gruve), Lyngrottfeltet, Lyngrott, Froland, Agder, Norge
Abandoned iron mine. A series of small open pits following a long, narrow ore sone. The pits are considered to be inclined adits to small underground workings.
West of the stream the holes are 2-4 m wide and 5-15 m long. East of the stream the pit is 50 m long, 1-1,5 m wide and up to 15 m deep, and has a ENE-WSW orientation. The ore was found in a 0,5-1 m wide sone in light reddish/greyish fine- to medium grained granitic gneiss.
The coordinates are given for the mine opening in the west.
The coordinates of the most eastern point of the mine are:
