A gold mine located somewhere on the west face of Palmer Mountain near the Copper World. It produced 5 tons of high grade gold ore prior to 1890.
Tectonics: The Greenstones Were Deposited Along A Convergent Continental Margin Proximal To An Island Arc.
Deposit: The property was developed by two adits (bethune, 1891). ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Geology: The vein is in greenstone and metagabbro of the permian-triassic palmer mountain greenstone (rinehart and fox, 1972, geol. Map).
Ore(s): A 20-In.-Wide (On The Surface) Vertical Vein Trends Northeast And Is Exposed On The Surface For More Than 300 Feet (Huntting, 1956, P. 137).
