A gold mine just west of the Knob Hill Mine. It was developed by a 300' deep shaft with drifts on 2 levels. Production records list 19,000 tons of ore proudced at 0.29 oz/ton gold and 1.61 oz/ton silver.
Tectonics: Epithermal Deposits Of The Republic District Are Found In The Eocene Sanpoil Volcanics. (See Republic District For Additional Details.)

Deposit: Host rocks for gold deposits of the republic district are dacite and andesite flows, flow breccias, tuff, and tuff breccias of the eocene sanpoil volcanics (muessig, 1967, p. 50-51; tschauder, 1989, p. 242). ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Development: Econ.com: produced about $25,000 worth of ore by 1934 (huntting, 1956, p. 125).
