Strömshultsgruvorna
The term "Eulysite" was introduced by A. Erdmann (1848) for rocks containing pyroxene, garnet, and olivine. Palmgren (1917) showed that these rocks basically are the same skarn as the Mn-rich iron ores in the middle of Sweden with two differences: much lower grades of magnetite and higher metamorphic level.
The typical ores of this type mined held 6-12% Mn and 24-33% Fe.
