An axinite occurrence located in sec. 7 (?), T15N, R16E, MDM, about 2.8 km (1.7 miles) SW of Alpine Meadows, on the N summit point of a ridge S of Five Lakes.

NOTE: Coordinates provided are to the center of sec. 7, which, coincidentally happens to correspond to the N summit point of the ridge.
