Mineralization is a Cr deposit associated with a shear zone. Local rocks include Ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).
Local structures include a shear zone (Commander claim).
Workings include surface and underground openings and consisted of a long open cut, a 30 foot long drift, and a prospect pit on the Commander claim.
