A borate occurrence located on the S flank of Browns Mountain (?), 4 miles W of Lone Willow Spring, on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Weapons Center).
NOTE: There is no Browns Mountain listed in the USGS GNIS database, nor is it reflected on the topo maps. The description provided places this occurrence about 4.4 km N of Straw Peak (summit), along the western slope of the Slate Range.
