An abandoned quarry worked on melaphyre (trachybasalt).

Locality visited during the 1. Mindat.org conference 2011.

Nest-like baryte aggregates reached 20 cm in diameter. Amethyst-bearing geodes, 20 cm in diameter, with amethyst crystals up to 1.5 cm in length, were once reported, too.
