The localities for anorthosite with labradorite showing schiller effect (labradorescence) is located both in the municipalities of Hå and Eigersund. There are currently (2015) two active quarries for labradorescenct anorthosite for ornamental use, the Krokavatnet Southeast in Eigersund, and Sirevåg in Hå. The area is extensively mapped and several localities have been identified.

The anorthosite from here is sold as "Blue Antique". The quarry area was opened in 2002 and is now worked by Larvik Granite AS, under the quarry name "Blue Antique #7".
Larvik Granite AS is a „Family Member“ of the family owned Brachot group. It consists of various brands and divisions, which all have their own specialisation.

The value of the anorthosite is predominantly related to the labradorescence of the feldspar, which is caused by tiny lamellae within the feldspar crystals. The play of colour is normally blue, but may also be green, yellow or red. The size of the (anhedral) crystals showing this play of colour range from a few mm to several tens of cm.
