An unsuccessful revival of an older mine known as Wheal Chance. The mine worked a NE-trending lode hosted by granite which was opened up by several adits SW of Rosemorran farm. Between 1908 and 1913, it produced 3.5 tons of black tin. It was tried again around 1930, but no further production resulted.

Since 1974 the mine has been privately owned and is used as an industrial archaeology and field training center.
