Location: This site is on a ridge at an elevation of about 3800 feet, approximately 5.5 miles northwest of Mauneluk River. It is in the SW1/4 of sec. 8, T. 20 N., R. 14 E., of the Kateel River Meridian. Location accurate to within 2000 ft. The site corresponds to locality 57 of Grybeck and Nelson (1981).
Geology: This occurrence consists of unspecified ore minerals in a thick sequence of low to medium grade, Paleozoic metamorphic rocks known as the 'Ambler schist belt' (Hitzman and others, 1986). Selected samples contain 2.5 ppm Au, 35 ppm Ag, 7250 ppm Cu, 1750 ppm Pb, and 1000 ppm Zn (Grybeck and Nelson, 1981).
