Location: Turner Creek is a west tributary to Boulder Creek (BN015). A locality on this creek was not included by Cobb (1972; MF 417) but Cobb (1975; OFR 75-429; 1981; OFR 81-363A) does make reference to it. This locality could be anywhere along Turner Creek and therfore cannot be located closer than a few miles.
Geology: Placer gold was reported to have been discovered and the creek staked by 1901 (Collier, 1902). Placer mining was reported to have taken place in 1938 (Smith, 1938).
Workings: Some placer workings are reported but the specific location is not known.
