Low-grade placer gold deposit: insignificant production.
Location: Located along Canyon Creek, east of Asbestos Mountain in the Cosmos Hills in T. 19 N., R. 10 E., Kateel River Meridian. Shown as locality 31 in Mayfield and Grybeck (1978) and is accurate to within 2000 ft. (600 m).
Geology: Fine gold found in prospect shaft in unfrozen ground.
Workings: Type of workings: Surface and underground. 40 ft (13 m) prospect shaft did not reach bedrock; several prospect pits in vicinity.
