Stream gradient approximately 100 feet per mile.
Location: This placer occurrence is near the intersection of Anzac Creek and the tractor trail marked on the Candle B-5 quadrangle. The site is about 0.6 mile above the mouth of the creek, in section 23, T. 1 S., R. 12 W., of the Kateel River Meridian. Cobb, 1972 (MF-389), location 37.
Geology: A sample of concentrate collected from a gravel bar contained 0.033% eU, of which 0.016% was uranium (Gault and others, 1953).
Workings: Pan concentrate samples were collected from a gravel bar in 1947 by the U.S. Geological Survey (Gault and others, 1953).
