Quarry located just outside of Penn State (State College) near Lemont, in College Township, Centre County, PA. This quarry features calcite, pink dolomite, and small quartz "herkimers" on a matrix of the Salona-Snyder limestone. A favorite field trip spot for PSU intro to geology classes and local rockhounders
