An Fe prospect located one mile W of Buckeye Knob.

Mineralization is magnetite which occurs in an aegirine granitic gneiss as crystals up to 2 mm. Nearby, abundant secondary replacement hematite occurs within float.

Local grology is a ridge underlain by aegirine granitic gneiss near a low-angle thrust fault.

Workings include a rectangular prospect pit elongated in a NE direction and is about 45 feet by 20 feet by 3 feet deep.
