A former small surface and underground Ag-Cu-Au mine located in the SE¼ sec. 9, T18S, R17E, on the SE slope of the Empire Mountains, on private land (location assumed to be between two adits 100 yards apart. Operated in 1958. Operated by Mr. Paul Herberman.
Mineralization is a replacement deposit hosted in Limestone. Ore control was faults and fissures. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite. The nearby Graveyard Mine contains copper carbonates.
Local structures include faulted and overthrusted blocks of sediments.
