A former small surface and underground Ag-Cu mine and subsequent (?) crushed stone quarry, located in the NE¼ sec 17 & sec. 18, T16S, R17E, on state land. Operated by Jose Rodriguez.
Mineralization / deposits in the area include mineralization along fissure and fault zones in thrust and block faulted Precambrian quartzite and diabase, Paleozoic limestone, and Cretaceous sediments. Alteration includes oxidation. Host rock units include the Epitaph Dolomite and the Colina Limestone.
Workings include small pits and tunnels.
