A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface and underground workings located in sec. 30, T13S, R12E, on National Park property.
Mineralization is a skarn pod at least several meters in diameter hosted in arkose. A large body of massive limonite gossan with irregular boundaries takes up half the width of the pod. Some malachite and Cu silicate on fractures in skarn. Two end pits have hornfels wallrock only. Alteration includes pyrite gossan; skarn. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Workings include 3 pits spread out over a distance of 15 meters. The middle pit is caved to expose tunnels. A tunnel at prospect 118-16 may drive into skarn at this location.
