A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in sec. 19, T13S, R12E.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with an ore body 0.04 meters wide, striking N30E and dipping 47W, and hosted in quartz monzonite. The vein is comprised of black quartz stringers with local blobs of limonite and disseminated Cu silicates. Also Cu silicates occur on fractures. Locally there is some white calcite in the vein material; also a 30 cm pod of massive limonite. 4 meters to the W is a similar parallel vein. Most rock looks propylitized but locally bleached and crumbly, so may be argillized as well. Ore control was the vein and fractures.
Workings include a cut.
