A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in sec. 21, T13S, R12E.
Mineralization is a contact metasomatic deposit with ore in veinlets at 1.3 meters wide, striking N87W and dipping 72S. Ore control was the footwall of the shear zone. Alteration includes argillitic and propylitic.
Local structures include a shear zone.
The shear zone contains 1 cm wide quartz + red hematite veinlets and also some Cu silicate and limonite on fractures, and locally some malachite. A 20cm to 1 meter wide zone on the hanging wall side is bleached moderately to strongly argillized. Veinlets restricted to a 1cm zone on the footwall side. Minor unoxidized pyrite or chalcopyrite (?) in vein material.
Workings include 4 pits.
