A former small surface and underground W mine located in sec. 30, T17S, R7E, about ½ mile S of San Juan Spring and about ¼ mile E of Foothill Trial (Trail ?) Road. Discovered in 1954 by Mr. Earl Hicklin, Jr.

Mineralization is in a fracture zone. Ore occurs in a metamorphosed band that appears originally to have been limestone interbedded with sandstone layers.

Workings comprised of one shaft; bulldozer cuts and shallow pits and are 4.57 meters deep.
