A former small surface and underground Cu-Ag-Au-Zn mine located in the NE¼ sec. 11, T18S, R23E, approximately 1 mile SE of Cochise Peak, and 1/8 mile SE of the Cobre Loma Mine. Recently developed. Located as a prospect on 1958 topographic map.
Mineralization is hosted in the Bisbee Group. Ore control was limestone beds near a contact with a rhyolite dike. Ore body was irregular.
Local structures include a NW-trending rhyolite dike. Overturned Cretaceous beds dip SW south of the mine. Upright Cretaceous beds dip SW north of the mine. NW-trending thrust faults include the Cobre Loma west of the mine and the Scorpion east of the mine.
Workings include pit workings and one adit. Production may be included with the 1979 tailings total for the Christmas Mine, Middle Pass District, in ABGMT-USBM files.
