A Fluorspar occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in the E½ sec. 17, T16S, R30E. Discovered 1970. The lat/long. is for a portion of Indian Creek that runs through the eastern half of the section near the center.
Mineralization is a vein deposit in a fault zone. Limestone is in fault contact with a quartz porphyry intrusive. The ore is coarsely crystalline, green and purple fluorite.
