A surface fluorspar occurrence/prospect located in sec. 5, T9N, R13W, GSRM, 9.1 km (5.6 miles) SSW of the Alamo Lake Dam, on the mesa on land of unknown status. Phillips gives the location as sec. 19, T10N, R17W (and repeated in Elevatorski ?). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in Holocene basalt. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic metamorphic rocks.
Local geologic structures include faulting.
