A Au-Fe occurrence with surface and underground workings. Location is approximate.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with irregular ore bodies. The vein filling apparently occupies a shear zone in the gneiss schist series. The property owner reported that the vein changes direction of dip 80 feet down in the shaft from SW to NE, probably representing a fold.
Workings consist of shallow shafts and open cuts. No production record.
