Located 85 km (53 miles) North of Sinegorye. Total district production has been 8 tons (257,206 oz) Au from placers and 50 tons (1.6 million oz) from lode deposits grading 62 g/ton (1.8 oz/st). The lodes occur in Jurassic argillite and siltstone that has been intruded by granodiorite in the southern part of the district. Gold occurs in quartz veins and intermediate composition dikes with quartz veins and stockworks. Ore zones are discovered by wildcat drilling, stripped of overburden and mined by hand with pick and shovel.
