A copper mine on Eagle Mountain NE of Chewelah. The ore occurred as sulfide and oxide minerals in a 2'-16' quartz vein following the bedding of schist. Development consisted of around 1000' of underground workings along with shallow shafts and cuts. Assays from the vein ran 2.5% Cu, 2-37 oz/ton Ag, and around 0.025 oz/ton Au. It produced 550 tons of ore on its own from 1914-1917, and contributed to a 2000 ton shipment with the United Copper claim in 1954-1955.
