A Au prospect located 9.6 km (6.0 miles) N of Lamerdorf Peak (coordinates of record). Discovered in 1995. Owned by the Centurion Mines Corporation, Utah (1995). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10,000 meters.
Local rocks include Middle Cambrian shale and carbonate rocks in western Utah.
Workings include unspecified surface openings.
"Ore-grade gold" intercepts from 2 to 4 holes in a shallow drilling program: (1): 1.5 meters of 22.3 grams Au/metric ton at 68 meters of depth; (2): 4.5 meters of 2 gram Au/metric ton at 12 meters and 3 meters of 4.1 grams Au/metric ton at 53 meters. Rock chip surface sampling identified a large zone of Au mineralization at least 1,000 meters long and 150 meters wide, with grades up to 1.2 grams Au/metric ton. More drilling was to have been done in 1995.
