This mine is located on the southeast slope of Hawkins Mountain. It worked lenses and lumps of chromite strung out in a band of shearing in serpentinized peridotite. Developments include a 100' long trench. It produced ore during WWI and in 1942.

Deposit: Chromite is present in small massive lenses. One lens was 25 x 7 x 2 ft

Development: Essentially mined out
Geology: Ingalls complex is an accreted ophiolite terrane
