Note: Andradites from here are sometimes sold under the locality name "La Prieta Linda mine, Julimes", and there seems to be some confusion as to whether this is one mine or two, and whether it/they are located in Lazaro Cardenas, Julimes, Meoqui, or all three.
Lazaro Cardenas is the nearest town, but you go through Julimes and Meoqui to get there.
I do not know of any evidence that these andradites are actually titanium rich, which is what defines melanite (however loosely).
