A Zn ore deposit.
According to a sign at the mine:

In 1904 a man, Karl Johan Gustavsson, from Hova Västergötland and mining engineer E. G. Nordvall from Njurunda Ångermanland appeared at Åkerlandet. They have got information that there was ore deposits at "Hinrikskullen" 1 km away from Åkerlandet.

They recieved a 3 km long mining claim in the area and around 30 mining prospects was blasted. At the NW slope of "Hinrikskullen" ore prospector Karl Jonsson Bölja from Grangärde Dalarna found the best ore body. The body was 3-4 m wide and 15 m deep.

Unfortunately no one was interested in the ore samples. The ore was hand milled and packaged in sacks, but it was left at the mines.

The rules for the mining claim was to mine at least 30 tonnes of soil and rocks yearly to keep the claim, but they didn't succeed.

The ore is a colorful combination of brown sphalerite, quartz and green fluorite in calcite filled veins. Some galena is also present in minor amounts.
