An iron mine in magnetite ore located about 0.5 mile (ca. 805 m) SW of the O'Neil mine, about 3 miles (ca. 5 kilometers) South of Monroe and just North of Lake Mombasha. Closed 1880. Ore was in feldspathic gneiss. Workings were a pit 400 feet (ca. 122 m) long by 50 feet (ca. 15 meters) wide and 50 feet (ca. 15 meters) deep.
