An iron mine in magnetite ore located about 6 miles NE of Peekskill (about 10 miles North of Peekskill according to the Rocks and Minerals articles) and about 2 miles North of Oscawana Lake. One of the Canada group of mines. The orebody was 3 to 15 feet (1 to 5 meters) wide. Workings were a series of shallow cuts and trenches.
Located in Fahnestock State Park (Clarence Fahnestock).
