A former underground Ag-Pb-Au-Cu mine. Discovered 1872. Produced 1919 - 1930.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation and enrichment of ore at near-surface. No alteration noted. An associated rock unit was andesite dikes.

Area structures include Veins that do not parallel foliation. The foliation, in Precambrian rocks, trends N-S and dips vertically.
